Turf

We offer both natural and artificial turf, surprisingly turf can come in a range of textures and colours, we will advise on the best solution for your garden depending on shade and drainage and areas of maximum wear.

We can landscape your garden offering not just turf but:

Turf is best laid in Autumn, but can be laid any time between Autumn and late Winter whenever the soil is not too wet or frosty. In Spring and Autumn little mowing is needed so newly-laid turf can be left relatively undisturbed for several weeks.

Ideally, the best garden turf will be a blend of ryegrass, smooth stalked meadow grass and fescue grasses. Fine turf with no ryegrass can be high maintenance.

Artificial turf

We can source and lay artificial turf, this can be mixed with real turf, maybe in an area that is too shady for grass or is hard wearing. Call us for advice.
